Steps to add Astar blockchain to MetaMask
In this tutorial, it’s assumed that you have already installed and setup MetaMask wallet on either your phone, or as a browser extension.
If you haven’t, then you have to download, install and setup crypto wallet using guidelines from the official website.
Once you have MetaMask wallet and your account is activated, you can now follow the steps below:
- Open your MetaMask wallet app/extension
- Log into the crypto wallet account
- In your profile, select ‘Settings’ option
- In settings page, select ‘Networks’ option
- Then click/tap on ‘Add a Network’ button
- Enter required ASTR network RPC details
- Click/tap on ‘Save’ button to store information.
Once you save the network information, the RPC details will be added to your account on the MetaMask wallet.
However, you will also be redirected to the wallet, where ASTR network is displayed as being added.
If you followed this guide to this extent, you can now add Astar network to your wallet account, and also send ASTR token to MetaMask.
Binance is an exchange that supports ASTR, and where you can withdraw the token to your MetaMask wallet.
Once the exchange processes your withdrawal request, you’ll receive ASTR directly into your crypto wallet.
I hope the tutorial guided you properly, and now you’re able to get Astar blockhain on your MetaMask.
