MetaMask on the other hand, is the leading self-custodial crypto wallet for Ethereum.

The wallet allows users to send, receive, store, store and swap ETH with other ERC-20 tokens on the network.

In this guide, we will discuss how you can connect and use SushiSwap with MetaMask wallet.

How to connect MetaMask to SushiSwap

It’s assumed that you know how to use MetaMask wallet, so we’ll only talk about how to use it with SushiSwap platform.

To make this tutorial very simple, you be guided using desktop version of the MetaMask browser extension.

Follow the simple steps below to get it connected…

  1. Download and install MetaMask browser extension
  2. Create your cryptocurrency wallet account
  3. Open and login your MetaMask account
  4. Go-to SushiSwap DeFi exchange platform
  5. Connect your MetaMask wallet using the option
  6. Approve the connection from your wallet.

Once your MetaMask wallet account is connected to the exchange, you will see your balance at the top right corner.

How to use SushiSwap with MetaMask

To swap tokens on SushiSwap, you need to have the Sushi native token in your wallet account.

Adding Sushi to MetaMask will help you pay for the exchange transaction fees.

Afterward, you can select token you want to swap from the top section and the token you want to swap to in the bottom section.

Once the tokens are selected, enter an amount you want to swap and click on the ‘Swap’ option.

After that, click ‘Confirm Swap’ option, and approve the transaction on your MetaMask wallet.

For cross-chain swaps, go-to Sushi xSwap page and select networks you wish to use for the bridging process.

Now, choose the tokens you want to bridge from (and to), then enter the amount.

Once that’s done, review the conversion rate, price impact, bridge fee and estimated processing time it will take.

Once you’re satisfied with the information, click ‘Swap’, and ‘Confirm Swap’ to approve the transaction on your wallet.
