Doing OpenSea metadata refresh is incredibly easy, and only take seconds on Ethereum, Solana, Polygon or some other available networks.

Follow these simple steps below to refresh NFT metadata on OpenSea marketplace:

  1. Visit OpenSea marketplace
  2. Login to your account
  3. Click on your profile icon in the top menu
  4. Go to your NFT collections
  5. Open the NFT that is not showing thumbnail
  6. You will see a metadata refresh button
  7. Click the metadata update button.

Once you click the button, the NFT metadata would be refreshed, but to see it, you will also need to refresh the page itself.

If the metadata of that NFT fails to show up, wait for a few minutes and reload webpage again.

What is NFT metadata?

Non-fungible token metadata is a JSON file that contains details (e.g. file format, creator details, transaction records, etc.) that are minted to tokenize the digital asset.
