Sweatcoin is a software mobile app that reward its users to walk, exercise, run or workout at anywhere.

If you love making money doing nothing, then you will definitely love this app.

Personally, I don’t treck long distance, but ever since this app got into my phone, it became fun walking to places like Church, Parks etc.

These days I’ve found myself taking longer walks, and have also started doing morning road walk and exercises to earn more rewards.

If you also have the intention of registering and using this app, then you should keep reading, as this article is a Sweatcoin review.

In this Sweatcoin app review, I’ve revealed the features that are available in this paid-to-walk and exercise app.

Let’s get dive into the details…

What is Sweatcoin app?

Sweatcoin is an app that gives you points as digital currency, which can be redeemed, or used to buy what is available in the app marketplace.

The name Sweatcoin was derived from two words: ‘Sweat’ and ‘Coin’, meaning that you only earn some coins for exercising.

Sweatcoin

Although, this app will not make you rich, you can earn some bucks with it being installed on your mobile gadget.

How Sweatcoin app works

To use this app to earn some money, while doing what you can do naturally, you will have to follow these steps to get it to start working for you. So in order to know

Install Sweatcoin app

First of all, you will need to download and install the app on your smartphone and you can get free Sweatcoins when you download using my own link.

Start walking or running

Once you’re done with setting up the app on your mobile phone, you can just minimize it to keep running in the background as you move around.

Every time you walk, the app will detect and register the steps you’re taking, and will also reward you around 0.95 coins for every 1,000 steps you take.

Exchange SWC for in-app rewards

As soon as you start earning enough Sweatcoins, you can exchange them for one of the many rewards that appears everyday in the daily offers.

Before, when Sweatcoin started out newly, it use to offer mostly fitness and sports related products.

However, they have added discounts on restaurant, holiday vouchers, or even an iPhone XS with about 20,000 Sweatcoins.

Additionally, you can even convert and transfer the Sweatcoins to its native cryptocurrency (SWEAT) using the Sweat wallet.

Ways to earn Sweatcoins

There are up-to 3 ways you can use to earn Sweatcoins, while moving around or going on with your daily activities.

Walking or running

Let the app be running in the background, while you go outside to start walking or jugging (if you want to do exercise).

Mind you that there are daily cap to SweatCoins you can earn.

When you get the paid-to-exercise app installed in your mobile phone, you are made a free user on the mover subscription levels automatically.

On the free level, it’s only allowed for you to earn up-to 5 Sweatcoin per day (i.e. roughly 5,000 steps daily), and about 150 SweatCoins monthly.

If you want to earn more every day, then you may have to go for the paid subscriptions.

These paid subscriptions can be subscribed with the already earned SWCs in your wallet, as that is the only way to pay for those subscriptions.

Let us take a look at how much each subscription level can earn you every month below:

Shaker level: This subscription level can earn you up-to 10 SWCs (i.e. 10,000 steps) daily, and up-to 300 SWCs monthly.

Quaker level: The level can earn you up-to 15 Sweatcoins (i.e. 15,000 steps) every day, and up-to 450 SWCs every month.

Breaker level: At this subscription level, you can earn up-to 20 Sweatcoin (20,000 steps) daily, and about 600 SWCs monthly.

All these subscriptions goes on the same price, and that is 4.75 SWC monthly to subscribe.

If you normally walk everyday to your work places, you can move the subscription to a level of your choice, but depending on steps you can comfortably achieve every day.

Daily Sweatcoin rewards

This is yet another way for you to earn on the app, by simply watching video ads within the Sweatcoin app.

You can find the daily bonus rewards when you go-to the marketplace and under the daily reward module, then ‘Claim it now’ to watch 40 seconds short advertisements.

Watching from start to finish of each video ad, you’ll be rewarded with 1 Sweatcoin as a reward.

Sweatcoin affiliate

If you are a blogger, or own a social media account that has good number of fans, you can make money faster by referring your friends and family.

You will get 5 Sweatcoins on each person that gets to the app using your affiliate program link to register.

Once you get up-to 30 invites using your link, you’ll gain access to the influencer marketplace where you can earn up-to $1,000 per day.

How to spend Sweatcoins

In the ways to spend the Sweatcoins, there are 3 types of offers available to spend your earned coins, and they are:

  • Daily offers
  • Marathon offers
  • Sweatcoin to PayPal

Let me explain these offers below in detail, so you can make an informed decision while in the making of choice.

1. Daily offers

Sweatcoin has up-to 160 brands paying them to promote their services, so there are things you can choose to redeem (e.g; cloths, jewelries, skin products, vouchers etc.)

These offers vary in prices, but some of them can be gotten for as low as 4 Sweatcoins, or as much as 1,500 Sweatcoins.

2. Marathon offers

These offers are called marathon, because they can take you long time to get these offers, and we’re talking about years.

Marathon offer has some awesome products rewards though:

  1. iPhone XS
  2. $1,000 cash paid gadgets
  3. Up-to $4,000+ paid holiday voucher etc.

Trying to get these kinds of offers will take months (if not years) to save up some Sweatcoins for them.

Though everything depends on how smart you are to get those coins as fast as possible, by purchasing friends your friends that have earn enough of those coins in their wallets.

Since the Sweatcoin app let you transfer the coins between accounts just like the way you can transfer any cryptocurrency from wallet to another wallet.

3. Sweatcoin to PayPal

Sweatcoin PayPal transfer is the only way which you can use to get real money out of the paid-to-step software app.

As the marketplace keeps changing frequently, some days you will find offers to redeem your SWC via PayPal gift cards to convert your Sweatcoin to USD.

You will be seeing this offer most of the times, if you keep referring plenty people to the app using your unique Sweatcoin affiliate link.

If you can get up-to 100 people to download the app through your link, you can redeem it for $100 PayPal gift card.

However, there’s no way to link Sweatcoin directly to PayPal account for easy withdrawal and redemption.

Sweatcoin price value

Using basic calculations to figure out each Sweatcoin price, we can deduct the monetary value of Sweat currency.

Since you only earn one coin for every 1,000 steps, each Sweatcoin value is worth about $.05 USD.

When you get 20,000 Sweatcoins, you will receive $1,000 via PayPal, or even an iPhone.

Due to the currency earning limitations, it would obviously take years for someone to accrue enough Sweatcoins to redeem rewards.

Even with maximum earning thresholds and limits, it would still take about three years to reach 20,000 Sweatcoins, which the price is valued at $1,000.

Is Sweatcoin legit or scam?

Sweatcoin is a legitimate paid-to-step app that rewards its users for the steps they take while walking, run and exercising etc.

Does Sweatcoin work when your phone is off?

Sweatcoin app uses Internet and the GPS sensors of your mobile phone to track movement and activity throughout the day.

Sweatcoin will not reward you with steps if your cellular data is turned off on your smartphone, whether Android, iPhone etc.

Does Sweatcoin work when app is closed?

Force closing Sweatcoin stops the app from running, meaning that step counting is no longer going to work.

However, this is different from having the Sweatcoin app running in the background (i.e. Simply return to your phone home screen to use other apps.)

Does Sweatcoin work on a treadmill?

A Sweatcoin app can count indoor steps, but your treadmill time will not count as well.

Does Sweatcoin work on apple watch?

Sweatcoin is designed to also work with wearables like Apple Watch on the Apple side, though, only newer iOS devices are compatible.

Does Sweatcoin work on a bike?

Sweatcoin does not say anywhere that bike riding is not intended – it’s still physical activity, albeit a bit less strenuous, and that is to say, it can count bike riding as steps, especially when you are moving.

Does Sweatcoin work with FitBit?

The app can ONLY use data from your smartphone’s GPS, and it only tracks steps you take outside.

This means that unlike other fitness apps, you can’t connect your FitBit tracker.

Can you cheat Sweatcoin with hack?

If you’re looking for Sweatcoin hacks, please forget it as it doesn’t work with the recent updates.

To understand why I said so, you can read this article on Sweatcoin APK tricks to learn more.

However, there are still some ways you can earn more Sweatcoins than usual on the mobile app.

Is Sweatcoin free?

The app is a freemium software, and you don’t need to use money from your bank account to purchase anything on the application.

How does Sweatcoin make money?

Sweatcoin makes money through its brand partners, which pay them to be featured in the marketplace section.

It also makes money from adverts shown on the app itself.

What can you buy with Sweatcoin?

There are variety of ever-changing offers that you can redeem for SWC predetermined amount.

These offers could be discounts for clothing, food, exercise equipment or even Amazon credit.

Is Sweatcoin a cryptocurrency?

Sweatcoin reward itself is not a cryptocurrency, but can be converted to the SWEAT Economy token.

It’s a mobile phone application, which has legitimate digital currency that you can trade on an exchange for cash.

My verdict

Since you’re simply going to get paid to walk around both indoors and outdoors, I would say that Sweatcoin app is worthy of your trial.

If not for the Sweatcoin rewards, at least it will incentivize you to work harder.

Research have also proven that, people who installed this mobile app on their phones tend to stay fit most of the times.

Though you can legitimately get paid to walk with this app, you cannot make huge amount of money with it, as you can only withdraw up-to $20 maximum using PayPal.

Additionally, you can redeem your SWEAT earnings, or use it to get discount on products listed inside the app’s shop.
